The Above Beauty Dermaplane Facial - A revolutionary treatment that gently abrades the dead layers of the skin, removes “peach fuzz” the short soft vellus nonterminal hair using a sterile microblade along with professional skin care products leaving the face surface extremely smooth, radiant and the skin prepared for improved makeup application. The procedure aims to increase the absorption of skincare products and diminish fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment stimulates collagen synthesis creating a healthy glow and a radiant complexion. Elim Pedicure - for those who struggle with hard skin and calluses this premium medical grade pedicure which is safe for pregnant women and those who are diabetic uses state of the art ingredients to remove hard skin and calluses. If your feet have been a little neglected come and visit Above Beauty where I will carry out a full consultation where i can assess your feet and recommend the best treatment plan for you. Depending on the severity of calluses and hard skin will determine the frequency and duration of the treatment.
Start the process with sanitising the feet then the heel peel is carried out at the beginning of the treatment the pH of the skin is altered using “The Callus Tonic”. The tonic breaks down protein bonds that bind together the dead cells of the epidermis (callused skin). The tonic is left on for a maximum of 10 minutes. After the removal process begins using a scraper and pumice. The scraper removes most whilst the pumice gently buffs and tidies with minimum pressure. Once the removal process has been completed on both feet the “pH Neutraliser” will be applied to all areas where the tonic has touched the skin. This is an important step as it rebalances the pH and helps maintain the soft supple heels post treatment. The Exfoliator and ultra rich clay foot mask is applied, finished with a foot and leg massage with protector cream and a gold spritz!

Nails
From hands to feet, gel polish to lacquer, here at Above Beauty you will find the perfect nail treatment. We only use professional brands The Manicure Company and OPI, which will last the length of time. Why not combine this with a Elim medical grade pedicure treatment using state of the art ingredients to remove hard skin and calluses from the feet.
Waxing
Waxing removes unwanted hair straight from the root, leaving your skin feeling smooth with long lasting results for up to 4 weeks. A waxing treatment is effective at getting rid of unwanted hair on your body and/or face quickly and with repeated use can leave you with less reoccurring hair growth.
On the body

We use a lavender crème wax enriched with soothing lavender oil which helps to heal and calm the skin during the wax treatment. The healing wax benefits from a low operating temperature that is highly effective at removing hair and ensures the skin in smooth, healthy and repaired.
On the face

We use a hypoallergenic, rosin free, fragrance-free hard wax, applied at low temperature, allowing for a pain free application and efficient hair removal. It is perfect for removal of stubborn shorter hairs, from the root, ideal for delicate skin areas.
Body
